Three Local Young Ladies To Represent The Valley In Miss South Carolina
Mustang alumni Allison Bryant, Cayden Burkhart and Mattie Berendsen are headed to the stage in June. This year Allison is the reigning Miss Palmetto and feels honored to represent her state and the area of Aiken County. Cayden, current student at MVHS and Miss Palmetto’s Teen, is competing for the first time which is a dream come true. Mattie is this year's Miss Yellow Jasmine and she plans to visit MVHS to speak about the importance of self-defense classes. Mattie might even give the current students some tips and tricks to use in the event of a crisis.
